Recently, the regional round and the preliminary evaluation meeting of the national final of the 2026 China University Student Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Track: Casting Process Design Competition were held successively. The event was hosted by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, organized by the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and co-organized by MAGMA (Ningbo) Software Technology Co., Ltd. Teams from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, NEU won 6 First Prizes and 6 Second Prizes in the regional round. Five projects advanced to the final defense of the national final, and five projects won National Third Prizes.
